#88430 - Stuff Farnell Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I just bought one from Digikey, who send me their 'UK' catalogue. Their prices are generally too high, but on this occasion, fully landed in the UK, it came to <75gbp. (I had to add a couple of connectors to the order to avoid their 10gbp handling charge on orders less than 75gbp!)
Incidentally, I couldn't use it. I already have an ICE with a software package that, though obsolete, DOS-based and lacking in many of the functions of the Cygnal, has one or two amazing features I've never seen in any other packages. I wasn't prepared to lose them. Plus, the target processor for the project is NOT a Cygnal, and can't be (don't argue) - I was simply trying to pull my firmware development into the 21st century - and much of the firmware relies on the precise execution timings of a 'conventional' 8051. The Cygnal's are mostly different. Anyone want a Cygnal dev kit for 100gbp (-10% for goodwill ;) )? Dave |
