For a temperature range of -10 to +130 the LM35 sensor will fit the bill very nicely. Check out more details here http://www.national.com/pf/LM/LM35.html

This is one of the simple options where you can just wire the device and read off the analog voltage as a function of temperature. Of course I am not sure if you have ADC in your set up - if not you may have to try out the digital stuff like IIC and the like.
