#88753 - Read the datasheet Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I pulled out my "power ics databook" and had a quick browse of the datasheet. The read and write timing is interesting - the /rd to data hi-z time is upto 180nS - probably not good with an 8051. Also the write data hold time is 120nS - not something the 8051 will comply with. Probably the simplest method around this is to control the bus ports via software - complying with the timing should then not be a problem. I think this explains your problem. |
