Hi Soltany,
Happiness is a state of mind. So nothing materialistic can bring happiness in the true sense. But yes, they can give you pleasure, gratification and comfort. Happy is the soul that is liberated from the bonds of this material world. But then it has crossed the stage of differentiating between happiness and sadnes. And therein lies a huge paradox that mankind is trying to unravel since ages... Thoughts as these about life's worth keep propping every now and then. Not to worry - you are not alone. Maybe the chips are down right now. But as everything in life, EVEN THIS WILL PASS. And the sun in all its glory will rise tomorrow. Cheers! Raghu |
