#89660 - uC-less Mass Spec Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I don't think that my mass spectrometer would be practical without a ยต-controller. It would be possible, but it would require a prohibitively large number of analog circuits and their quantity would always be a fundamental limitation (for any finite number). Oh... I don't know. You can read the voltages straight off the electrometer cups. We used to be able to do this with a MAT261 I ran as a college intern. It's what you do with the voltages that needs the uC. :) |
