#90116 - battery
Responding to: ???'s previous message
This only happens when I use batteries to power the micro and solenoid. If I use a power supply, then I find no problems.

"If I use a power supply, then I find no problems" indicate that your problem is power, not noise.

A the physical unit sold as a battery is not just a battery, it is a battery in series with a resistor. All batteries have a series resistance (and inductance) the size of which depend on the manufacture.

I would imagine that if you put a HEAVY electrolytic directly between the supply to the solenoid and the ground connection of your FET your problem would be solved.
