#9170 - RE: Closing very old threads |
If we're going to refresh old threads, we need to consider the problems caused by the new messages being at the very bottom of the list.
Maybe its time to reverse the ordering to support more messages in a thread and covert to a PUSH-DOWN ordering instead? Just think, if the topic on code for LCD drivers is constantly refreshed, we might be injected with a topic with so many messages, we wear out our page down key trying to find the new message at the bottom. :) Maybe applying an OLDEST / NEWEST FIRST button would work well enough and give use a better feel for its eventual solution? aka j |
