Would it not just be as simple as use a pinout: http://pinouts.ru/data/CompactFlash_pinout.shtml and tie the A lines to the '52s address bus and data to the data lines not forgetting the 373 of course, and all those other signal lines tie to +ve or gnd?
If there is no chance with no code, is there a way to use other USB card reader compaitiable flash memory for the code memory, such as SmartMedia? Just visualize getting each instruction from a disk formatted media from a file which may be fragmented - it aint gonna work. You can use compact flash cards, but the format will be unreadable by a PC. Instead of CF there are Flash chips with 2Mbyte that cost less than $3 Erik |
