I don't know what kind of control loop is present in the implementation. The servos appear to be of the type used in radio control toys. If so, I wonder if a command pulse to the elevation servo is being sent frequently enough. If a command pulse is not sent often enough the servo control circuit interprets the lack of a pulse as a command to drive toward one extent of the servo position range. Check with the vendor to determine how often the pulse should be sent. Also inquire as to the minimum and maximum pulse width to achieve a full range of servo travel. - Do the firmware processing paths result in the timing of one axis being dependent on the timing of the other axis? - Does one set of sensor measurements result in a new command to both servo axes? - Do both servos receive an update at the same time?
