#93824 - Robotics/Motion control using 8051 |
In continumm with my previous post regarding a good project idea, i've thought about jumping into robotic or motion control using 8051 MCU. I've got a couple of ideas that are given below. i'd like fellow forum members to comment upon it and suggestions are invited.
1)Emulating the human arm: i plan to make an assembly of a human arm from elbow upto the fingers. the 8051 and supporting chips will control the motion of the elbow, wrist and the fingers. 2)Retrieving objects from a grid: there is an 8 x 8 square grid. objects are placed in all the 64 squares. objective is to develop an electro mechanical assembly that will retrieve the object from the square whose number is entered by the user. |
