Thanks prahlad for all the information and advice. But i'd like to make one point... i'm not new to 8051 microcontroller. i've been working on it since past two years and have done real good projects uptill now. As a matter of fact my teachers consider me the best assembly level programmer in my batch. Anyways, i wouldn't want to brag about myself, and its not your fault too. Its just that robotics interested me since i was a child and so maybe i picked up too difficult a project. But i've got on to a simpler idea and just figuring out the feasibility of it.
