Dear Jay,
When I and others mentioned about difficulties with designing Robots. We were not refering to programming difficulties, we are refering to complete system level difficulties including Mechanical and control stuff. Knowing 8052 assembly programming alone isn't enough You need to master Control Engg. and Mechanical things as well and second you must have enough time & Resources available. By the way most of these Industrial Robots dont use 8 bit micros they use 32 bit ColdFire, Dragon Ball & ARM micros 8052 is simply not meant for huge applications such as Industrial Robots. Programming in assembly will take years to complete your Robot Project, your hairs may turn grey by the time you complete it. If really intrested use a 32 bit micro with C or some other HL programming and make sure you have enough resources and time available. Regards, Prahlad Purohit |
