In the olden days when you could buy a motor for the price of a few LEDs maybe - just maybe - at that time the rotary clock made sense.

Today when I get hundereds of LEDs for the price of a small motor, this "idea" which may be "creative" makes no sense, you get a lesser product for a higher price.

There is so much "creativity" executed just to be "creative". If those efforts were addressed to real problems we might be in a better place.
