#95042 - aren't they attractive? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
It was never the price. I mentioned the price as a reason that it might have been an idea in the olden days. it's okay, i've just take my opportunity to defend the Idea . :) Now, there is the one for the spokes, that one makes sense as a novelty item. I have real trouble seeing the clock (which is, at best, difficult to read) as an attractive marketable product I have had seen commercial products here used to attract people to the shops, and they are completly redable even without a fliker to my eye , it was as good as that the first time i seen one i couldn't figure out how it is working. Thus why on earth make a big fuzz on something as unattractive as a swinging arm with LEDs. Don't be that much hard ,there ARE commercail products based on such a design, as you can see in the link provided by J.Guy here http://8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=94972 and the link i've mentioned here http://8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=94977 . in my point of view this type of display has a big future...
