#95151 - Re: Video graphics using 8051 |
Hello all,
My name is Valentin Angelovski, my main interests include 8051 system programming and video. I firstly wanted to say that this site rocks! I was also particularly impressed with the work done by phillip gallo (and possibly others) on the '8052 Video' article. Back in late 2002, while working on a simple text-based video display unit using an 8051 derivative, I decided instead to have a crack at making a arcade-style (in this case a space-invaders variation) game on the 8051. The final implementation is fairly crude to be honest (even atari VCS was/is WAY better) but thought it was worth a try...
