Be aware that there are true '51 "speed demons" available today such as the SILabs f12x series running up to 100 times faster than the "good ol' 80c51". For simpler things there are the cheap Philips LPC series which, being 2 clockers, run 6 times faster. I am not doing video, but moving LED signs and have had to resort to these to achieve the features needed. Erik |
