#96253 - setting up COM port properties
Responding to: ???'s previous message
In Windows applications, if they have a means to set up COM port properties, these will override those set in Control Panel.
So while I am not absolutely sure, I think the proper way to enable FIFO for Hyperterm is in Hyperterm chose File->Properties->ConnectTo/Configure->Advanced and there you go.
Similarly, the datarate etc. which are set here override those set in the system.
If the data flow is too high, sometimes it helps to implement some handshake, than it has to be enabled in a similar manner, too.
