#96487 - Sourcing of components Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Vignesh,
Yes we do have a problem of sourcing current generation ICs in low volumes. And it is complicated more if you are on a student budget. For a distributor of SiLab or Analog Devices it may not be viable to deal one or two ICs over the counter and hence you cannot blame these guys also. The absence of local mail order companies like Farnell / Mouser / RS Components is the main reason. Actually I buy quite a bit from all of these companies and mostly the freight + duty is more than the cost of the item! But being industrial projects this is not an issue. I have also sent you a mail on this - just revert with details and I will see how best to get the items for you. Regards raghu |
