P89LPC922 appeared to be suitable for this appliation since on this page it is mentioned that LPC922 has two ADC's. I placed a purchase order for 10 chips with local supplier.
What really surprises me now is In the datsheet of LPC922 http://www.standardics.philips.com/products/...2_9221.pdf As Abishek says, it does appear that this part has Comparators, not converters. Unfortunately, this just goes to show that you need to check the Data Sheet before placing orders - don't just rely on a feature list! In other cases, you might find all those features listed, but certain restrictions mean that you can't use them all at once. Of course, you can use a comparator to build and A-to-D... Have you taken this up with Philips? The page is certainly misleading - whether intentionally or otherwise... |
