Well, the key point here might be "the bag" (meaning the amounts you are normally buying) and your location. I am afraid this does not apply to Prahlad... (although I might be completely wrong, just being sceptic a bit...)
it was a bag of 10 and, at that time and place, my Philips purchases were less than $500/year.
