ADC = Analogue-to-Digital Converter.

The chip doesn't have ADCs, it has Comparators - that's why I said the document was misleading.

If this were consumer advertising in the UK, Philips would (probably) be breaking the law. That's why I suggested that Prahlad should take this up with Philips.
