The reason Jez wrote his post was in an effort to demean Michael.

In English speaking cultures, adults engage in so-called baby-speak when interacting with infants. I don't know this with certainty, but I suspect you have something similar in Farsi. Anyway, in English baby-speak is principally characterized by ending a word with a long 'e' sound and following it with one or more rhyming nonsensical words. In this case "Mikey Wikey." The antecedent "ickle," I am told, is apparently British baby-speak for "little." I'm guessing you need to be able to hear it in a Cotney accent for that to make sense.

So, by using baby-speak to refer to Michael (note that Jez did not address the statement to Michael, but about him instead), Jez is attempting to imply infantile characteristics onto Michael. And, apparently, using the baby-speak adjective for "little" was supposed to make the statement even more demeaning.

Finally, by using the baby-speak about someone else, Jez seemed to believe that he was casting himself in the role of the adult. Unfortunately, he seemed to forget that adults use baby-speak when the speak to infants, not about them.
