Leaving aside the question of how you know it's working "right" (we've had that discussion recently), I would re-phrase that as:

4.) Never, ever ship a unit with undisclosed bugs.

A customer may be prepared to accept a unit with some known "deficiencies" - eg, as an early release for beta trial or something.

The important thing is that the "deficiencies" or "non-conformities" must be declared by you, and agreed by them. You'd probably also want to agree the purpose of the release; eg "for the beta trial only" or "for internal use only"
