advise you to take both, it won't hurt and could help a lot. they will probably have a lot of overlap, but the advanced portions of each look different. for books, i like Al Steven's Teach Yourself C++. plus K&R. maybe the newer books are better but i haven't tried them. also liked Ayala's 8051 book. check out ratings on Amazon. jh |
