#97901 - Which area will you work in.. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Jose,
One other thing that needs to be know is your target area of development using MCU - industrial automation / networked applications / consumer durables / cell phones / automotive ....? I am asking this because you wrote that you got a ARM processor based developement kit. As a language, "C" does provide some level of abstraction for hardware details of the MCU, but not much. you still need to know the architecture of the specific MCU for which you are writing code and know it well if you want to write the most efficient code. There could be some difference of opinion on this aspect, but I personally believe so. Since you are starting out on "C", better narrow down to a particular MCU and write your first simple "Flashing LED " program . Rest will follow. Raghu |
