I heavily doubt, that pulsing the PT100 will help in increasing accuracy of PT100.
not as to noise, but it does have the effect of reducing self-heating. my guess is that someone saw the pulsing (without it being explained) and "guessed" it was applied as a noise reduction method which is totally bogus.
