#104780 - printouts-simulator-monitor-quasiICE-ICE Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I think there was a thread here on the development tools quite recently but I cannot find them.
The chain from the subject is what you have basically, with increasing both cost and "efficiency" from left to right. As Erik said, the SiLabs quasiICE is probably the best value for money according to most users; I have seen constructions where it served as an emulator for classical DIP40/PLCC44 8051. A very-low-cost solution perhaps worth trying is a core-type monitor SoftICE of SST/Philips, in conjunction with Keil. Try googling; I have seen mentioned it on many Chinese sites (I don't understand it, you will). Jan Waclawek |
