Be aware that this affects timing. Interupt driven serial is better. That's what I do. And I have an ICE on-hand and available. Just habit I guess, but I prefer the old-fashioned approach of dumping the information I need to the serial port. That same approach works for me whether I'm developing a program in 'C' in Windows, modifying the 8052.com website in PHP, or testing assembly code for an 8052 target. Regards, Craig Steiner |
