HI All,
In keeping with new fab processors and cost effective parts Philips have ear marked the P89C668 for EOL (end of life some time in 2007). The EOL notice can be obtained from here http://www.semiconductors.philips.com/products/...x.html#dns DN57 notice. The P89C664 has the suggested replacement as P89V664. I hear rummors that the P89V668 will eventually be the replacement for the P89C668... nothing offical from Philips yet. BOOT LOADER for the P89V668? I would suggest checking the P89V664? http://www.standardics.philips.com/products/...89v664.pdf The documentation seems to suggest a P89V51 type boot loader as well as a P89C51 (P89C668) style boot loader.
