On those devices a full device erase also erases the boot vector. Flash Magic then restores it to the factory default. Of course, any interruption from the start of the erase to the end of the reprogramming of the BV will cause a problem.
Once the operation has completed you can then go to the ISP menu, choose Boot Vector and Status Byte... and set the BV to whatever value you want. Unfortunately you have to remember to do this each time you use the factory bootloader. Andy |
