What do you want to prove by this splitting hairs?

No "splitting of hairs", I want to state that a correct description makes the function of a gate CLEAR.

I have never contended that the CHIP is not an AND gate, but the FUNCTION still is an negative OR.

Clear language never hurt, but if you insist on befuddeling the issue by calling 'ANY OF' an AND function, then you go ahead.
