First Clr TI before you start, to be sure it is clear.

If you are using TI in Both the main code an the interupt, it must be cleared in the interupt.
Look at what your code will do, sometimes. Code Running - TI sets- Int Clears TI - Main Code misses it.
Make you own flag. Set it in the INT, check and clear it in main. Avoid Dead loops, you can get stuck there.
