Erik for you and I, interrupts are a non-issue. But consider the concepts we have learnt and are ingrained in our mind. Firstly - interrupts. A major concept in itself. Stack and saving the cpu state then passing parameters between isr and main code - atomicity etc and data structures. In itself, these are not too difficult to comprehend, but you need to have an understanding of these fundamental concepts. As I said 'a little more complex' than polling. For a beginner - yes, it is a little more complex. Initially. I'm sure David would agree with my description. |
