#131737 - it depends
Responding to: ???'s previous message
My question van I rely on this test or do I need a more sofisticated test.

A If you can live with the possibility of taking a (few) hit(s) some day in the future (you would not use surplus parts in equipment for sale I take) then your test is good enough.

What I would do, even more than a test, would be to read the datasheet, especially re timing, and verify that that was OK.

Often one of the parametres most affected by variances will be the time required to e.g. hold a write pulse.

B If you can not live with the possibility of taking a few) hit(s) some day in the future no amount of testting will do, then it comes down to design.
