Because i am new to this i don't know these..

If we use Port Mapped IO, Directly we can connect to port.
My big doubt is, How would be the hardware connections if we want to use Memory mapped IO, and what are Hardware Registers, do we need to initialize them, how can we use them. Please clarify my doubt.
