#139876 - Stretching pulses
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Russell said:
Just for discussion, suppose the polling loop takes 120 microseconds to get around to looking at all 12 inputs. Now even though the pulses don't come any faster than 15 Hz, if any given pulse is narrower than that 120 microsecond loop time, the polling loop might miss it.

In that case, it would be very simple (with an RC network, probably), stretching the narrow pulses to a more comfortable width.
