Would a buffer that held data for what pin to turn on 1 bit or 1 pin which was processed with a timer interrupt, be very effecent?
the timer interrupt would set the port based on the current buffer location then move the current to the next. when it hit the end it would loop back to the top. The main function could handle what to set the buffer data to. |
