#145067 - Quartz Crystal Problem?? |
Hi
I am trying build a programmer for At89S51 given in http://www.ikalogic.com/isp.php?rep=#mini_forum It is working fine with AtMega16 ( i have tested) but with At89S51 device signatures are not matched. One thing that i have noticed is that at Xtal1 the waveform is very attenuated(almost 10mv peak to peak) both with and without capacitors(22pf each) on Xtal1 and Xtal2.I am using a quartz crystal of 8Mhz(tried 11.0592 Mhz also).Should it be like that? Previously i asked Atmel for sample programmer but they said that they don't give free samples.One programmer board in my currency will cost around Rs. 2500/- while if i make it by myself it is just Rs 150/- . regards Richeek |
