#145076 - Re:What is on Xtal2 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Quartz crystal is connected according to the datasheet. It is across xtal1 and xtal2 with two capacitors of 22pf on each xtal1 and xtal2 and other terminal is grounded.
I have read in Predko book "Handbook of microcontrollers" that if you get attenuated output this might be due to large capacitors so i tried with even no capacitors which as far as i know will only make waveform less stable. Hence attenuation is still not understood? -- Richeek |
