#148082 - KANDA cable is Responding to: ???'s previous message |
as the name suggests - a cable. It has 10 wires.
On the other end the cable is attached to the parallel port of a computer and the other end has this 10 pin header to plug it to the circuit. The luxury model has a buffer that disconnects the cable (tri-stating) from the circuit. The power is drawn (+5V) from the circuit. The name comes from company named Kanda who used to sell Atmel stuff - maybe they still do. Mostly low-cost stuff so prolly a non-kitchen-sink user would not touch those without kevlar gloves. |
