And it's disabled again. This morning the server load went back up after 2 or 3 days of being nice and low. At this point I don't think it's coincidence. I'll see how it goes now that I've disabled the search again, but most likely I'll need to optimize things before the search is re-enabled. This is non-trivial because the system will have to store messages in a different way to make them more efficient to search; that means that in addition to write the code to make that possible, I also need to write a routine to convert all existing messages into the more searchable format.

I'll keep everyone posted.
