It does appear that the 8052.com Search is having an impact on the server. For the time being all searches will be routed through Google. I know this isn't ideal but it's better than no search at all.

I have a couple of extra-curricular projects I need to complete but they are not large. Once they are done I'm going to overhaul the website, including a much better (and less CPU-intensive) search process.

I'll keep you all posted. Thanks for your patience.
