I repeat I don't know, I am curious - I never tried to do whatever with fingerprints. JW Honestly, I don't know either. I find that most tasks are "small", which is why I still use the 8-bitters more than anything else. The 200 MIPS ARM is not so cheap, nor is the entire environment within which a larger task might be run, but the tools are pretty good. After all, you can run your entire development on the same machine as your target. That was how we did it back in the '70's with our 8-bitters. It was a lot more fun that way, than nowadays, with cross-development tools that run under Windows and "usually" work. OF course there was no www to provide help in the middle of the night ... RE |
