Erik Isn't that why folks use HLL's? That sacrifice is a given with HLL's, isn't it? The ARM types with which I've had intimate contact all had built-in SDRAM channels as well as the usual FLASH/SRAM channel. I was amazed at how little external hardware was needed, as the desired peripherals were typically built-ins. The whole system, IIRC, had 7 IC's, aside from the four voltage regulators. RE |
