I have three boards (different processors)and looks very crude in design
I have about 10 (it used to be that a devboard with an adapter cost about $10 more than the adapter and I have bought adapters by the dozen) and, based on the above, decided to see if I could agree. I can't, at least the f124x does not look 'crude' to me.

Of ourse, since I do not use the analog and can thus not say anything about the analog performance but the looks are fine as far as I'm concerned.

One word on SILabs devboards: in the old Cygnal days some i...t came up with an idea of a "noise suppression capacitor" on the reset pin. This capacitor, effectively, changes the reset to a RC reset, remove it or you may find some boards suffering from 'memory loss'.
