They the Silabs guys dont gaurantee professional/Industrial product with their Test Boards , isnt that enough or you need more http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Repetition .
If they say no for a Test Board then its a NO . A development kit is a development Kit for it has been designed for the purpose of development . Its upto you what you do with it IF you want to gear it as a professional industrial product ,I have no objections .
