I have just started programming for an 89c2051. So far I have written a program to light 8 LED's from the port counting up/down with 2 push buttons controlling direction of count. I need to convert the o/p so I can display it on an LCD module i.e. 00000000 would display 1234.0. However I would then like to display the next value as 1234.5 and so on. As I have only been programming a short time, so am very wet behind the ears. Would I need some kind of look up table? If so how do you go around creating one? Help would be appreciated.
