there was no accusation. just as one says "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush," isn't an accusation that one is holding a bird.

"cheatsheets don't teach" means, as has been discussed here in prior years, that simply posting solutions to the people trying to learn here, isn't always the best method for them to improve their craft. that's why i suggest you take the time and learn the values and strengths of various approaches to the solutions. its better in the long run. when i teach assembly language, i even let students pursue what i know are dead-ends... you learn from every wall you bump into.

lookup tables are a under utilized solution that i've written on extensively and i promote them heavily. but i'd never start a novice off on that solution... he'd never learn assembly language and end up years later programming oracle servers and hating it. heheheh
