the code i posted was a simple modification of what he had written. while you appear to critique that for some unknown reason. it is offered to help neil progress from where he is now.

when you expanded the topic to other print algorithms, so did i.

i'm sure your family would be proud. i would agree that there are better methods to obtain his objective, but i more interested in helping neil with his code.

since his application is just to twinddle some lab-bench leds and lcds, it wouldn't be worth the time submitting a contract proposal; feel free to do so if you wish. :)
