I too was using this DS12887 and was facing a different problem which could be avoided if I had used PCF8563.
But my product was already in final stages so I had to find a workaround rather than change my IC. I believe changing over to a PCF8563 is a better option, provided you are at a stage where you can afford to do so. regards, Seemanta |
